European Commission launches European Standardisation Panel survey

The European Commission has launched the second edition of the European Standardisation Panel survey to gather input from industry and other stakeholders on their standardisation needs, with the aim of boosting innovation and European competitiveness.

The survey will collect input on standardisation needs, notably from industry actors including large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and start-ups, as well as from experts, patent applicants, and research and innovation actors engaged in standardisation activities. It aims to ensure a balanced representation of stakeholders and technology domains across Europe.

The results of the survey will contribute to the EU Standardisation Strategy and will take into account findings from previous studies, as well as the Code of Practice on Standardisation in the European Research Area.

The survey is open until 31 January 2026. Access the survey via the European Commission’s Research and Innovation website.
