ETSI has released its latest Work Programme, outlining priorities across Technical Committees, Industry Specification Groups and Software Development Groups.

The programme sharpens focus on data and AI (including a new Technical Committee on Data aligned with the EU Data Governance Act), quantum technologies, cybersecurity work supporting the Cyber Resilience Act, and next-generation networks such as 6G. It also highlights a shift toward digital-first, machine-readable standards and open development efforts like SDG OpenOP for federating European 6G test infrastructures.

ETSI has also published its 2024 Annual Report, marking a record year with nearly 4,000 deliverables.

As the coordinator of InDiCo-Global, ETSI’s programme provides useful context for the technical areas we track and engage with in our international cooperation activities.
