
InDiCo-Global is pleased to announce the launch of its Second and Third Open Calls to support the promotion of European digital and ICT standards in key partner regions.
The InDiCo-Global open calls offer a total of €1 million in funding and aim to strengthen international cooperation on digital standardisation by funding activities such as training programmes, capacity-building, applied research, and knowledge exchange. Proposals must demonstrate alignment with the European Standardisation System (ESS) and contribute to broader EU digital policy goals.
Second Open Call | Now Open Until 31 August 2025
This call seeks proposals focused on:

Training and capacity-building in areas like eID, data governance, e-accessibility, and DPP

Hackathons and proof-of-concept demonstrations
-
Promotion of EU standards (e.g., EN 303 645, GDPR-aligned data protection)
-
Organisation of or participation in standards events and workshops
Projects should demonstrate tangible outcomes and target one or more of the InDiCo-Global focus regions: Africa, China, Eastern Partnership, India, LAC, Southeast Asia, Western Balkans.
Third Open Call | Extended Timeline (Rolling Until 2026)
This call supports two focused activities:

Training programmes for staff of non-EU/EFTA National Standards Organisations (NSOs)

ICT Landscaping Studies across key regions, including updates to previous work
Awards will be made on a first-come-first-served basis, subject to eligibility and evaluation.
